Tip of the Spear Professional Coaching

Charles Livings, with over four decades in communication and professional development training, cofounded Tip of the Spear Professional Coaching to meet the training and professional preparation of aspiring professionals. With a background ranging from collegiate classroom teaching to Chief Marketing Officer, Charles has recognized experience in guiding transition for both students and aspiring professionals through their professional development challenges. His expertise honed local and regional professional development opportunities and achieved success among his participants.

Charles holds a B.A. in Speech from Auburn University Montgomery and a Master of Arts in Communication from The University of Alabama.  He is certified as a Resiliency Building Leadership Professional Trainer, was selected as AUM’s Outstanding Adjunct Instructor in 2019, and has been recognized for his contributions to leadership training by the National Board of Leadership Certification with his induction into the Order of Saint John Baptist de la Salle’s.  Charles’ contributions to the United States Infantry for caring and service to thousands of transitioning service members led to his induction into the Order of Saint Maurice – Civis.

Beyond his professional accolades, Charles serves his local community through the Society for Human Resource Managers and Scouting.  His passions include gardening and giving back to his community. His leadership to Tip of the Spear Professional Coaching is deeply personal, reflecting his two decades of work in the professional transition space supporting service members and students pivoting to their career goals.
